“This news doesn’t seems good!” was the reaction by millions of people using Google Services – Gmail (Google Mail). In the latest claim made by Google in court filing in attempt to head off class action lawsuit, they stated that – “don’t expect privacy when sending to Gmail”. This was shocking! to many of us, reason whatever emails are sent out and are received by any gmail user has NO PRIVACY?
People sending emails to any of Google’s 425 million Gmail users have no “reasonable expectation” that their communications are confidential, the internet giant has said in a court filing. Consumer Watchdog, the advocacy group that uncovered the filing, called the revelation a “stunning admission.” It comes as Google and its peers are under pressure to explain their role in the National Security Agency’s (NSA) mass surveillance of US citizens and foreign nationals.
“Google has finally admitted they don’t respect privacy,” said John Simpson, Consumer Watchdog’s privacy project director. “People should take them at their word; if you care about your email correspondents’ privacy, don’t use Gmail.”
While the news seems untrue and there is more research that needs to be done before making a decision on whether to use Gmail or not but it seems that Google spokesperson have made some corrections to these claims such as – “We take our users’ privacy and security very seriously; recent reports claiming otherwise are simply untrue.”
Whether believe it or not the speculations are going on around this true/untrue claim. R u a Gmail user? if YES! then its time to do some homework… 😉
We have been researching for the past 1 year on the most effective way to help our clients to reach maximum customers. Going back and forth on the “conversion scale” statistics, we finally found the answer.
Here is what we tested and designed:
We tested 3 different one page websites into 3 different niche – integrating email list building software, social media, video, sales pitch and optimized the pages for search engines. Guess what? The results were off the roof!
In one day – Our 1 page website captured 134 leads. In total for the 3 pages we set for 3 different niches with the same idea – captured 397 leads.
We were amazed to see the results and tried few more of these 1 page website designs. ALL SUCCESS!
We spoke to our tech team and launched the one of its kind “Viral PAGE – ONE PAGE” websites.
Right now, these are selling like hot cakes and has been introduced to our international website.
